HOA is a luxurious retreat that gives the space and time needed for our minds to disconnect from the external, connect to our world inside, and tap into our creative potential.

 

The Villa was built in the 18th century, a time where Baroque Architecture was flourishing through experimental forms, dramatic curves, and innovative art for the time. The design concept seeks to elevate the existing historical architecture- complementing its foundational design- while not competing with it.

 

The conceptual idea of HOA was to base the design on these principles of innovation to enable the modern person to fully connect to-- and find inspiration from-- the historical space.

The refurbishment displays gentle curves in the interior and exterior that mimic human behavior.

Striking this balance makes the historical site more accessible and relatable to the modern person.

 

HOA is the celebration of the modern artist connecting to their internal landscape and cultural roots through design, architecture, and art.
